Typically, Salgado's negatives are made by one Philippe Bachelier:

His prints are made by Nathalie Loparelli:

What amuses me is his admission that he showed up for the Nenets expedition
wearing non-native technical clothing, which failed to keep him warm.

That's the sign of a clueless amateur, in my opinion.

When one lives with a traditional people in their challenging environment,
one wears their clothing too, for reasons both respectful and entirely
practical too.

One also eats their food, sleeps together near them and also endeavours to
speak their language. Simply showing up with a camera is far from doing
enough.
