Indeed, I was meaning it more as pixel peeping in early days when these days 
a 5MP P&S image will not fit 1:1 on my large screen!

yup - and 5x7 and 8x10
those were my first "experience" of "digital imaging"
as big a WOW
as seeing my first print come up in the tray under the safelight.
