> Hey All,
I put a new post on my blog today giving my impressions of the RNC
convention in Tampa, FL and the DNC in Charlotte, NC. They were very
different experiences, and with the exception of one photo, all were taken
with an M9 and 35 or 50 summilux. Enjoy!

Hi Craig,
Absolutely first class photojournalism in telling the story with your
photography! Good on you lad.

I've covered a few similar political events here in Canada in bygone days
and they can either be "super excellent to cover." As in the atmosphere of a
party and all smiles. OR? An over extended security mess that everytime the
camera comes to the eye there are a half dozen security people eye balling
you just in case! Kind of a creepy place at times. :-(

cheers,
ted
