Subject: [Leica] IMG: Update on the Jupiter-12 and M9

So, I recently have sold off a ton of gear and made a few trades. One of
these recent trades saw my acquisition of an Amedeo adapter for Nikon S
to Leica M. I didn't expect to still have a 35mm lens after saying goodbye
to my
Summilux but I found a Contax mount Jupiter-12 for almost free.

So, the lens arrived yesterday and when on the Amedeo adapter, the
collar that is spring-loaded and drives the adapter helical touches the
Leica cam-follower from about 10m to close focus. I took that apart and
filed it down just enough to clear the cam follower and now the focus
is great. I'm really surprised that I've been a Leica shooter for this
long but have never owned one of these fantastic lenses.

I'm looking forward to shooting it more!

Here's a shot outside of Jay Maisel's studio/bank vault on Bowery

Thanks all.
