I often wonder what other people put up with. I recently got a cheap Zeiss
ZM 85mm Sonnar which was off in focus, sent it to the NZ calibrator whose
notes say "dismantle lens, found a loose front optical group. Dismantle
lens, refitted and secured front optical group." Quite possibly the lack of
focus is why he sold it for so little!

Not fun...
It will be very interesting to learn if the increased resolution of the MM
causes a slew of owners to recalibrate...
