I recently got a cheap Zeiss ZM 85mm Sonnar which was off in focus, sent it to the NZ calibrator whose notes say "dismantle lens, found a loose front optical group. Dismantle lens, refitted and secured front optical group." Quite possibly the lack of focus is why he sold it for so little! john -----Original Message----- Not fun...
