OK, so an M9 has a manual rangefinder - with this adaptor would you have to 
focus on the rear LCD display? It had been hoped that the number of 
electrical contacts would do something cleverer :-( Not just a case of Fuji 
being good enough, it is having a range of M fit lenses already and +60mm or 
-18mm in focal length.

the fully auto Fuji lenses available for the X Pro 1 are so good, I don't 
see the need for manual leica lenses here, but for a different reason...

as for focus confirmation, you don't have it, among many,  on the M 9
