Subject: [Leica] IMG: Discarded US Capital Stones

Near a trail in DC's Rock Creek Park there is a pile of stones, not
just any stones though, actual stones from the US Capital building.
Seems that these pieces were used to replace damaged stones after the
war of 1812 and later in 1958 these same pieces were replaced and
dumped in the park. Odd that they are just laying among the trees and
weeds.
