A period of talk about almost every subject on earth ensues, followed by singing. At that point I usually disappear. From the ages of 6 to 18, I was trained to be a concert pianist, leaving me somewhat intolerant of amateur music. While my parents wanted me to be a concert pianist, I wanted to be a chemist (or physicist) and my wishes ultimately prevailed.
