absolutely!
not "just" tools.

tools must fit the hand
respond as intended

does the brush have the proper spring
does it form a true point when wet

does the chisel hold an edge

does the instrument have the proper action

each unique craftsman answers for themselves - alone

I have a few of my grandfather's (a cabinet maker) wooden planes.
the blades are still razor sharp (as he left them).
