The C-V 35/1.2 is fairly low contrast, but I like that. The thing I like
least about the newest version is that it focuses to 0.5 M, so at the near
end it will decouple from your M and you need to focus by guess, which
doesn't work at f1.2.  I tend to work at the near end of the focus a lot,
so this is a huge pain for me, and might be worth considering if you also
work up close.  If you use a mirrorless camera, of course, the close focus
is probably great.  The v1 lens has its close focus at 0.7 M and might be
worth hunting down if this is a consideration for you.
