Subject: [Leica] IMG: Snowy Owl
From: wildlightphoto at earthlink.net (Doug Herr)

This has been an irruptive winter for Snowy Owls, with individuals spotted
as far south as Honolulu Hawaii but as much as I'd like to claim otherwise
this photo is NOT a wild bird. It's in the care of a licensed falconer:

Technical stuff: R8/DMR, 280mm f/4 APO, shoulder stock & monopod. All
comments welcome particularly regarding color since this is a new computer
and the monitor's not calibrated yet.
