Subject: [Leica] Insure your parcels from UK Post Office!

On 30th December, 2011, I sent my CV Nokton 35/1.2 to be tightened up  
by Don Goldberg in Wisconsin.  He still hasn't received the parcel.

The teller at the UK Post Office told me that I should insure it, but  
I told her I sent things to him before and doubted I needed the  
premium for insuranc, so I just paid the 8.70 GBP postage fee.  I  
won't be doing that again!

I have the receipt for postage, with a hand note on it by the teller  
saying, 'Customer advised not covered for value of goods.'  I really  
dislike the practice of having to stick a label on parcels advertising  
the value of the contents.

 From now on, I'll be paying the extra to insure parcels!
