Subject: [Leica] Leica shopping in Hong Kong

Hi, Geir:

Must say I agree with what Howard and Bob wrote about HK Leica prices.
No bargains on cameras or lenses and you do need to be careful about
who you deal with.

What I must add, though, as a chronic loser of lens caps and and soft
release buttons, the myriad camera shops and, in particular, Leica
Boutiques (yes) often have these bits in stock. They don't give them
away, alas, but they do have them and I prefer to keep lenses covered
when in transit or caught in the rain. Stocked up on caps when there
(The Leica Boutique in The Times Square Shopping Center in Causeway
Bay had a good supply). Other shops often have odd items and such, so
it's good to keep your eyes open.

Also, many shops, Leica and others, have Artist & Artisan and other
accessories that are sometimes useful, helpful, unusual, fun,
indulgent or giftworthy for your friends with Leicas.

Enjoy your visit.
