I didn't realize there was a problem with damp conditions.  For that much 
money, I would expect a camera to be more durable.  A few times I've gotten 
my M3 pretty wet when I've pursued a picture in the rain or snow - when I 
wanted the image, I forgot about the camera - but it came through fine.
