Would that affect sharpness somehow? I have taken some shots with 28mm Summicron and 50mm Summilux asph and they do not have that really sharp bite I expect, I have done test shots at infinity and they are sharper than most lenses can manage but still not quite what I would expect. Things photographed closer do not look sharp but I do not see a moved plane of focus.... John - the paranoid
