I have used tablets for a couple decades.
Not sure that there'd be much advantage in Lightroom;
though extremely handy in Photoshop if and when doing serious retouching.
If you're not into using drawing tools (pens, brushes, pencils, etc.)
I assume it will take discipline and practice to become comfortable with a 
tablet and stylus.
On the other hand if you have some drawing experience it will feel much more 
natural.
