Funds were tight, but I splurged on one luxury, a Bob Dukoff professional mouthpiece for the alto sax. It is still with me, scarred and no longer in use, but it provides a souvenir of happy times. Bob Dukoff was better known for his Tenor mouthpieces, used by many pros, but he also made a small number of Alto mouthpieces as well. I purchased mine from a former GI who was in school with me at the time. The fancy box: http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/OldNick/Bob+Dukoff+Mouthpiece+Box.jpg.html The mouthpiece itself, well used but perfectly serviceable after many, many years: http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/OldNick/Bob+Dukoff+Alto+Mouthpiece+2.jpg.html E-1 with ZD 35mm Macro, ISO 800, RAW Comments and critiques welcomed.
