My favourite feature of the NYC culinary experience are the ubiquitous
"China y Latina" restaurants, staffed by Chinese who first immigrated to
Latin America before moving on to the USA. They offer a wonderful blend of
Chinese restaurant dishes together with deep fried plantains, yellow rice
with black beans, roast chicken, avocado salads and all the other staples of
Central American and Caribbean Hispanic cuisine.
