I think the flare adds to it, but I am a *** who puts a UV filter* in front 
of the gorgeous concave front element ;-)

* Not many filters fit under the FLE hood, it currently has a Panasonic as 
it has taken much longer to get a Leica UV than it did to originally get the 
lens!!
