Makes me thankful I don't have to do this for a living!

BUT, and this is a big one?..my sister and I were just going through some of
the household items left in my Mother's house when she moved into a private
care facility.

At one time, we both knew, there were something like 20 or so Kodak Carousel
trays, full of the slides our Dad had taken over the years. He was the
designated family photog.

The trays were gone! We didn't have a clue about where they might be. All
those precious photos of all the family, our children?.all gone, we thought.

As it happened, my nephew, with foresight, had taken the trays and stored
them in a climate controlled setting.

Unfortunately, most of the slides were shot on High Speed Ektachrome, and
many of them have faded badly.

POINT: Brian is right!!! And, it doesn't make any difference whether I am
pro or amateur. The point is: I now have the majority of our family photos,
and most are digital, and one day my children and grandchildren will want to
see them.

Thanks, Tina, for sharing the link.
