I agree wholeheartedly.
Normally I probably would have applied a minute amount of sharpening to this 
photo for just a hint of "pop."
I presented this unsharpened version merely to make a point that all 
sensors, and all aa filters are not created equal;
and that not sharpening "is" a viable "option" for ccd sensors without aa 
filters;
depending on a subject who's aesthetic is enhanced by not sharpening.
