If I was doing the type work Joe does, and I wanted that look, and I had a
couple assistants and hair dressers and lots of time for each posed shot, I
might use flash.

But I don't.

 I'm not against flash I just don't need it for the way I shoot since I use
Leicas and fairly fast lenses.
