Maybe this has been queried before, but I'm having trouble coding my
lenses with a sharpie and this template:
http://whimster-photography.com/leica_m_lens_codes/template.jpg

My lenses: CV 21, f/4; CV 35 f/1.2; Canon LTM 35 f/2 with VC M-mount
adapter, f/2; 35 Asph 'Cron; 50 'Cron IV; 90 thin Tele-Elmar; 90 Leica
Canada 2.8 (chrome); Leica 135 2.8, goggles.

After coding with a sharpie, the CV 21 is recognized as a 21 when I
press the Info button on my M8. The 135 is mis-recognized as a 21.
The others are not recognized as coded at all.

I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong. However, when I print off the
template mentioned above, the diameter seems a bit too wide, so I have
to kind of guess the correct positioning for the sharpie marks.

Any advice welcomed!
