Each morning while we were there we would walk out across the islands

which we had reached, of course, by Mokoro:

for which there was ample parking space:

These little water craft can even be used to access the washing to
retrieve it:

and to sneak up on critters:

I had to change from a 75 mm lens to a 35 mm lens just to fit this big
fella in the frame. My mokoro poler made all sorts of small but
frantic gestures when I got out onto the bank and slowly got closer
and closer. The elephant never knew I was there, and walked away a
few seconds later. I was probably lucky to have the breeze in my face.

Leica MP and M7, 35/1.4 asph, 50/2 Hexanon, yellow filter, Plus-X and
Tri-X in Xtol 1+3.

Comments etc welcome.

Thanks,

Marty
