Ric, Jim, and Leonard, thanks much for the suggestions.  Don't know why I 
didn't go the DIY route to begin with.

Walked over to the neighborhood hardware store (it's a small town) and found 
a two-dollar pack of round felt adhesive pads in various sizes.  Just about 
perfect.
