[Leica] OT Sony ICF-SW77 Short Wave Radio

That's a really odd warning; I've never come across it with any of the 
millions of pieces of Sony gear I've owned. The only sense I can make of 
this is that it may be a poorly filtered (inexpensive) supply that generates 
too much radio-frequency noise to be suitable for radio receivers. But this 
would not be true of anything but a so-called "switching" DC supply, which 
is used when lots of DC current is needed out of a small unit?not the case 
here.

Anyway, go ahead and try it, just for grins. Whatever the warning means, if 
the adapter is the right voltage and polarity, it can't hurt the radio.
