This includes more written narrative than the guys who thought they were making a video of a Lamborghini. The irony is that the owner of the car has a business -- restoring mangled exotic cars. Also learned something from a dealership near where I live that sells those things: insuring them is next to impossible if you use them for daily driving. Dealers get insurance for their stock/merchandise; owners can insure them as collectibles, along with codicils specifying how much driving and where. But, if you're willing to pay, you can likely find someone somewhere willing to take on a risk . . . which leads to an entirely different topic about assuming risks. Greg Rubenstein
