My friendly Irish postie brought me a package from Germany this morning with two B+W 486 MRC IR/UV cut filters. One was the rare E41 size for my 35/1.4 pre-ASPH Summilux. The other was a Series VII for my even more ancient 85/2 Nikkor P. So, with my two Leica freebies, I now have four magenta-proofed lenses for my M8. The filters come in at about E55 each, which is considerably cheaper than the Leica equivalent where they're available, and certainly a lot cheaper than an M9. Foto Huppert's website is: http://www.foto-huppert.de/default.asp and their email address: "Foto Huppert" <info at foto-huppert.de> They accept Paypal and are excellent communicators in English as well as German. No connection except as a very satisfied customer. Best of light.
