Subject: [Leica] Epson 4880 hitting end of life or something?

I've gotten ads today from several sources with $700-$900 off on Epson
4880 printers.

Is something major and new coming from Epson?

I don't track this stuff but I'd sorta like to know. I'm grumpy with
Epson because they aren't releasing full-fuction print drivers for the
4000 on the Mac. But what I hear about the new drivers for the 4880
and the 9900 is pretty good, as good as ImagePrint RIPs.

Thoughts about this?
