Ted,

I can't see the BFD of you spending a few kilobux on a business related 
tool without getting a spousal benediction.

I have never had to ask my wife's permission to buy a Porsche or my last 
Lexus.  In fact, a few years ago my wife
decided to buy a Lexus for herself!  She paid cash for it too. No 
spousal permission required. And the cars were
not business related,  tax-deductable tools.  Your Leicas  ARE!
