Subject: [Leica] OT Stuff: Hasselblad 501CM & 80mm/2.8 Planar

Good morning!

It finally happened. I have a Hasselblad. Correction. It's a Leica 501CM
with a Leitz 80mm/2.8 Zeiss Planar Elmarit lens. It's only taken about
40 odd years since I first lusted for one of these cameras.

I have a couple questions that I'm sure someone among us can answer.

1. The viewing screen needs cleaning. How do I get the waist level
viewfinder off? Can I then remove the focusing screen?

2. Is there a mirror lock up similar to my Pentax 6x7 & old 35mm
film SLRs?

I loaded a roll of Plus-X last night. I'll find out tonight if I loaded
it correctly.

Thanks for all of your help!

Wayne
