And big videos People hate reading. Utube rules. People don't even watch TV any more they go through mucho mini videos instead. They like to be told stories. Reading is too much work. I'm ok with people making slide shows of my shoots. Having sound tracks worked in. a story being told with my pix through the proper sequencing. Its not what some call the mise en page. A layout. Its a time thing. A rhythm thing. - people want sound now. If not video than they can do with slide shows. And slide shows are stills. I've done them all my life. One with 12 projectors for 6 flags. I've had a Kodak carousel be my portfolio at times. People would come by and I'd play just the right music with it. It was not a casual decision. And the speed had to be right. The first photo I ever got paid for it was photographs of actors and I saw it on TV on the news with the reviewer. For the Chicago premier of the play Day in the Death of Joe Egg with Jo Henderson and Tony Tanner. We got raves. I saw my pix on the TV news. It was amazing. I felt like I helped out. It was 1969; summer of love. Give or take. Mark William Rabiner
