Agreed.  At least in the first few weeks while I get used to the lens. 
I already think it's a lens which will need work / practice to get the 
best out of it.

My first impressions are that it seems a little soft at f1.1, but that's 
while pixel peeping and I have to remind myself that I'm comparing it 
with lenses like my Summicron which has probably been shot at f4 and so 
I'm comparing apples and bananas.

The lens will get its first proper outing today as we're off to the 
Fairford Traction Engine rally, which I'm hoping will be a 'target rich 
environment'...:-)
