I totally disagree. I have used other brands of cameras and lenses and there is no comparison to the quality I get with Leica. I take lots of low light photos in situations where I don't want to draw attention to myself. Fast Leica lenses and quiet Leica bodies outperform any other system. When I switched to digital, before the M8 came out, I bought Canon pro cameras and their L lenses. I still spend hours on the files I took with those cameras and lenses correcting chromatic aberrations and fringing that are visible at 100%. I don't get CA or fringing with Leica lenses. The Leica lenses and cameras are made to standards that others don't even consider. You get what you pay for - and they are not rich men or women's toys. I'm far from rich but I do want the best tools I can get for the work that I do. Leica cameras and lenses actually save me money and time. Tina Tina Manley www.tinamanley.com
