Subject: [Leica] IMG: Another sailing ship - Leaving the River Tyne in1993

Hi all

After all these lovely shots of boats under sail and powered, a slightly 
larger sailing ship leaving the entrance to the River Tyne between 
Tynemouth and South Shields (in the distant background).

The Tall Ships Race in 1993 was characterised by awful weather - mist, 
drizzle and pouring rain - so this is one of the few shots that turned 
out. Shot during a slight break in the weather.

The sail training ship MIR. A pity the sails aren't up :-(
