Wrong on the blacks... you either use the matt black or the regular black... if you switch, you must purge and recharge the lines....ink waster.... From what I read, the additional ink that you get preloaded with a new 3800 goes a long way in narrowing the price differential between that printer and its smaller bretheren. The 3800 also has the big advantage that you have both Photo and Matte Black installed, so you waste less ink in every time you change a black cartridge, in line purging. Cheers Jayanand
