First the chromium intensifier which reticulated my grain amazingly in the early 70's. Never did that again. Then some selenium for some stuff in the early 80's that was thin and I count get a good print from and really seemed like a worth it image. But the contrast got so good with even Ilford variable contrast paper than I didn't need to do that any more. That's contrast really not sharpness; but close. Contrast can pass for sharpness in a pinch.
