One of the greatest things about the Library of Congress, and there
are many, is that you can still buy prints of the FSA photos printed
from the original negs.  I have a dozen or so, bought years ago.
Whoever their printers are, they are very skillful.  These are very
nice prints of iconic images.

Are governments anywhere still investing in documenting their work
this comprehensively?
