"Moonrise" by Ansel Adams would not be a "truly great photo" if made with a minox ;~) Obviously, the answer is no. because they would not have been made by any other camera than the one they were made with. Salgado made great photos with M's, R's, and continues to make great photos with P's and C's. it does not matter what tool he picks up. I have no doubt that we will see his work with an S2.
