I tried a roll of Adox CMS 20 today

One shot is here:

The large version of the image shows many flaws but it does confirm
the fine grain of this film. Years back I loved using Kodak Technical
Pan and I think this film is a worthy replacement, maybe even better
as it is "orthopanchromatic". I have just printed an A3 version and I
am truly impressed. The sense of regaining the past is strong - I even
used a Nikon F2 as I did in my prime years - though it was with a
modern Zeiss lens!

Photography is so rich today; we have "clean", almost clinical
digital, and we can still do soulful film photography. I love it!
