Subject: [Leica] IMG: Trip to the DDay Museum in New Orleans

I'm pretty much a WWII nut, I wish I could just hang out at the Museum with 
all the WWII vets all the time.

Just a recent trip with the R-D1 and 35/2 Wetzlar eight element 'cron. The 
Museum is expanding right now and will soon take up 3 entire blocks when 
complete. Katrina slowed work down some but now they are working at a pretty 
fast pace. Hiding next to the I-10 off ramp is an original PT boat waiting 
for restoration. With all the new work, the Museum is starting to show off 
many items that had previously been in storage. The German fighter and 
uniforms are new.
