Subject: [Leica] OT Nikon D700 works

Working fine after all, first thought it was the body, then a lens...  
included two calls to Nikon support, who instructed me to send in the  
body, then the lens...


it turned out it was a specialized setting, re   AE-L,  and my fault,

when I found that and changed it...


it all works...


amazingly, no one from tech support caught it...


and only my blind, dumb luck that I stumbled onto it,
