I have 2 since my Sb800's are getting on the old side. There has been allot of talk about the SB900 overheating and shutting down. I've only had one overheat and shutdown once, that was after approx 300 flashes and I knew the batteries were done for. Huge improvement on the AF focus light, the SB800 had problems with the D3(not sure if the D700 has those problems). Nice lighting even when using the 200mm range.
