Today I received a cheery e-mail from Senator Feinstein in response to my 
e-mail expressing our concerns about this bill.  Apparently neither she nor 
her staff actually reads the contents of e-mails from constituents because 
she was glad to report that "On May 15, 2008, the Senate Judiciary 
Committee, of which I am a member, unanimously approved the orphan works 
bill."
