Subject: [Leica] BOATING PAD #3 - Skiffs

At the opposite end of the boating spectrum from the luxury yacht I
showed yesterday is the flat-bottomed, slab-sided skiff. Boats like
these have been around at least since I was a kid and probably far
longer than that. They are cheap and easy to maintain. I remember
them from the 1940's as rowboats that took a small outboard, if you
could afford one. Today's Cape Cod version is longer, deeper and
takes a big motor. It will also take a whole family out for the day
if Dad wants company while he's fishing.
