I'm trying out this lens for a couple of weeks. Wow, talk about heavy metal! 
Focus is very smooth and quick to adjust. The D3 has a custom menu to tell 
the camera what manual focus lens you are using.

Anyone else own or has used this lens?

Can't wait to try it out this weekend!
