The Europeans have had centuries of internecine squabbles which still 
continue.  They all but invented colonialism, pogroms and a host of other 
human disasters. They gave us the inquisition and fake showers for millions 
of Jews.

I'd think their platter should be too full to worry about what goes on in 
Texas.
