Some?  All?  He can look it up and proceed from there......

Let the guy have the info and let HIM determine what to do with it.......

He has some possibility of retrieving the files from the wastebasket,  but
if he tries to load on another program, he may write over the file space of
his photo files.

Everything one step at a time..... get what you can first and most directly,
then go after the other stuff......

If you read the original post closely, you can conclude that the files are 
NOT in the wastebasket.  He got a "file too large for recycle bin, delete 
anyway?" question and said yes.
