As far as I'm concerned, when people appear in public - on the street 
or any other public place - they have given up any rights to 
privacy.  It is not exploitation to photograph and sell any public 
scene.  If it were, all photojournalism would be exploitation.  I 
agree that some photography is exploitive when it invades someone's 
privacy; however, as long as the published photos are not falsely 
pejorative, any photo taken in public should be allowed and any 
profit made from the photos is totally irrelevant.
