Subject: [Leica] IMG: Ira's PESOs 2008-4....8 - Vintage Aircraft

These are all unconventional pictures of (mostly) American vintage
all taken to emphasize a particular characteristic of that bird. I say
mostly, because this specific Hanriot, although French built, was brought
states by French WW1 Ace Charles Nungesser and used in various films.
and co-pilot Francois Coli were lost trying to fly the Atlantic westbound
the same time Lindbergh took off on his famous flight.
1928 Lincoln-Page LP-3
1923 Swallow Twin-Place
1927 American Eagle A-1
Curtiss Robin C-1
1918 Hanriot HD.2
All were taken with the M4, 90mm Tele-Elmarit on Tri-X, with some cleanup
the backgrounds in Photoshop.
As always, comments and critiques are welcomed and appreciated.
Best Regards,
